Unidos en Cristo (UEC) is a structured three-day weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people and bring them to a new and more active awareness of living in God's grace. UEC is based on basic Christian theology, concentrating on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. You may want to view our Mission and Faith Statements. The objective of UEC is to inspire, challenge and equip individuals for Christian action in their homes, churches and communities.

UEC is for Christians from every walk of life at every stage in their faith. It is for church leaders and lay people who live strong and active lives in Christ as well as those who seek to be renewed and strengthened in their relationship with Christ and the people around them. UEC is for married couples and single men and women.
The weekends are either paired and run consecutively, with the men attending one weekend and the women attending the following weekend. Co-ed weekends are also offered. UEC begins on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday evening.
Keep an open mind and heart in making a decision to attend UEC. Like you, many wondered if they should. Once they did, they wondered why they had waited so long. Each person's experience at UEC weekend is unique.
What happens at an Unidos en Cristo weekend?
Spending the entire weekend at the church, participants live, study, worship and commune together daily. A series of talks are given, nine by lay people and five by clergy. Following each talk, small group discussions focus on the main points of the talk. The interconnected talks present the Christian life and help people to align themselves to God's will for their life.
There is an abundance of music, singing, fellowship, food, laughter, friendship and prayer throughout the weekend. Clergy are available for spiritual guidance on an individual basis as well.
What happens after Unidos en Cristo?
After your initial UEC weekend, you will be invited to build on your weekend by expanding your spiritual ife through Bible study and participation in your own church, becoming a more active witness for Christ in your daily life. Within UEC, you can be involved in an ongoing small group fellowship, attend Ultreyas — gatherings of the local church UEC community, sponsor others to attend a UEC weekend, and participate on UEC teams — groups of people who facilitate the weekend.
